Camelia Smith and Martha Molina

Born in the two northern corners of Arkansas, Camelia Smith and Martha Molina are happy their paths crossed in Northwest Arkansas.  They have joined together to combine their skills and talents to create Arkansas TravelAviatrix Air Race Classic Team.  Together they will embark on a 2,483 mile adventure in a Cessna 182RG to promote education opportunities to young people, the role of women in aviation, general aviation and share in the rich history of women's involvement in aviation in Northwest Arkansas.  The first all women air race was won by Louise Thaden from Northwest Arkansas in 1929 and the ladies' competitive spirit would like to bring it on home once again.  Camelia and Martha are active members of Women in Aviation, the 99's, AOPA and EAA.  As parents and educators both ladies have a strong desire to mentor our youth, encouraging them to develop healthy lifestyles that will enhance their future possibilities.
